Foo Photo - Kurt & Sherry On The Palouse

Time gets past us so quickly. It's astounding to me that this photo was taken in 1991. Before Grunge hit the mainstream. Before widespread use of the Internet or Email. Before Blackberrys. Before Sherry or I ever picked up cellphones. Before my truck was made. Before Jack and David were even gleams in anyone's eyes. To some people walking this Earth that's ancient history. To Sherry and I it was mere months to our 2nd Anniversary.

The picture was taken by my good friend Tracy Caddell while we were on a motorcycle ride, from the top of Steptoe Butte in Whitman County. The terrain behind us is The Palouse, some of the richest dry wheat country in the US. At night this scene is even more spectacular when the stars are out!

Here we are 17 years later at Pacific Beach WA!

Foo Photo - Jack and The Elephant

All you have to do is pull out a camera and Jack says CHEESE. This was taken at church today during the potluck we threw for the associate pastor and his wife (they're moving back to their home state). The animal banner was up so we could take pictures of all the church members for them, and put the photos in a scrap book.

Not sure what Jack's doing here but it looks like he's holding a pair of motorcycle handlebars!

Seattle Aquarium Visit

Sherry, David, and I attended a birthday party today at the Seattle Aquarium. I hadn't been there in a number of years (possibly twenty), and Sherry had never been in parts that we visited today. Imagine being a local and never doing the local stuff! Yeah, that's us sometimes...
